Arts On The Creek’s current mission is to support high school artists in displaying and selling their artwork at the Johns Creek Arts Festival. This year’s festival is Oct. 16-17. Click here for the Google map for the festival.
Since 2013 (excluding 2020), Arts On The Creek has worked with the art teachers and students at Centennial, Chattahoochee, Johns Creek and Northview High Schools. Using tents supplied by the City of Johns Creek, AOTC hangs the work of as many as 50 local students for two days. Most of the artwork is for sale at the festival.
We thank the Art Department heads of our four High School, who work tirelessly to motivate their students to create outstanding art. Visitors regularly note that the quality of high school art presented by AOTC is better than many booth artists charging higher prices throughout the festival.
Students have sold as many as 10+ paintings, photographs and drawings each year. A 2019 table of Northview student jewelry sold out.
